Our services provide free support to those struggling in the surrounding communities. This support allows families and individuals to focus on their personal growth, family health, and stability while having basic needs met on a consistent basis.

GROCERY DISTRIBUTION

The Total Living Center’s grocery distribution aims to meet the surrounding community’s basic food needs while supporting individuals’ transitions to a more sustainable lifestyle. The child food insecurity rate in Stark County is 19.4 percent. (Akron-Canton Food Bank, 2021) We understand the need for food within Stark County and we are here to provide a resource for the surrounding families with a smile and a heart of compassion.

Grocery Distribution is the 2nd and 4th Wednesday from 11:00AM-1:00PM.

WEEKLY MEALS

 

Every week we provide multiple opportunities for a hot sit-down meal for those in need within our community. We not only want to meet a physical need by providing a meal, but we also want to provide tender loving care to each person through times of prayer and emotional support. At the Total Living Center, you will be greeted with a smile and enjoy a conversation with one of our kitchen volunteers.

Lunch Provided Monday-Thursday from 11:30AM to 12:30PM. Dinner Wednesday at 5:20PM.

HAIR SALON

 

A haircut can boost an individual’s confidence. Whether it’s a child going back to school, an elderly woman who needs a fresh cut, or the gentleman who needs a trim for an interview, we continue to provide a bridge of compassion through free hair cutting Services.

Haircuts Provided weekly on Wednesday’s from 10AM-1PM.

CHIROPRACTIC CLINIC

 

Powell Chiropractic provides FREE chiropractic services to the community. The Total Living Center is able to provide a place for real on-site consultation and adjustment for those who cannot afford care and do not have insurance.

Chiropractic Services offered the 1st Tuesday of the month from 12:30PM to 1:30PM.

LAUNDROMAT

 

The Total Living Center provides low income or no income families within Canton a place to come and wash clothing and linens. Nothing is better than wearing a freshly cleaned outfit. We see the laundromat as a place where strangers become friends, people are known by name, compassion is found, and the worth of every human-being is acknowledged and celebrated.

Laundromat hours are daily Monday-Thursday 10AM-2PM by appointment only.

HYGIENE ROOM

 

Our hygiene room is a resource to those who do not have the means to purchase basic hygiene products. For those who come to our weekly meals or the homeless this is a place to supply products for personal use.

Hygiene Room is available weekly during business hours upon request.

PAPER ROOM

 

Total Living Center is a place where we provide the community and other non-profits with a supply of free paper. This paper is donated to us as scraps from a paper company. While it comes in various sizes, we are able to redeem the paper by cutting, wrapping, and packing it into packs for churches, schools, and more.
